Almost three months since I graduated from my career at Microsoft.
Non-stop since.
Three months of learning, building, pitching, traveling. Japan two weeks ago. Toronto now.
To be honest, I am exhausted.
This week I'm at RosCon. Learning to program robots to move. Taking notes. Being a student again.
It's a lot of work. And I'd do it all over.
This work matters. How we bring robots into the world will shape whether they free us to be more present with the living beings around us, or just make us more efficient at everything that's already broken.
Animals have served us royally, for centuries, without asking much in return. So have the humans beside them. Caregivers, handlers, trainers, farmers. All of them running on too little.
We owe everyone in that equation a better way forward. Not just a faster one.
I keep moving. Even tired. Especially tired.
One quarter in. Oasis Zero is just getting started.
Lead within. Lead your pack.
